On Sunday, 6th February 2022, the General Secretary of CEMES Professor of World Religions, Dr Nikolaos Dimitriadis, presented the European project Prosecuw- Protection and Security for Places of Worship at Faros Tou Kosmou (the Lighthouse of the World).
Faros already participates in the works of the project with Ft. Athenagoras Loukataris, the soul of Faros. Dimitriadis’ presentation coincided with the visit of the Vice President of the Commission Mr. Schoinas. Present in the event were also His Eminence Metropolitis of Neapolis and Stavroupolis Varnavas (member of CEMES) and the Major of Ampelokipoi and Menemeni, Lazaros Kyrizoglou.
